Holy Hellebores, Batman!

I've heard several people say that hellebores are hard to grow, but I've had a lot of luck with these two little plants. I planted them about 2 years ago behind the sign under the Bradford Pear trees there. They seem to like the spot because this year they are full of blooms. I'm going to keep amending the soil back there and try to add some more varieties when I get caught up on everything else.

How Pretty. I think you can start those from seed as well. Just watch the garden centers or check online for seed packs. If you find them start them in small cups then transplant outdoors after all danger of frost is past. Obviously, I'm proud of your green thumb.

I can't take a lot of credit. I just stuck them in good dirt and left them alone. I want to plant a little shade garden behind the sign at some point, so these are a good start.
