Ouch!

Richard had a wisdom tooth out today. He is recovering nicely, although somewhat grumpy at the fact that he can't have crunchy food for a while. Don't worry, he has lots of ice cream and jello to tide him over.

Happy #11

Richard and I celebrated our 11th anniversary today! We splurged and had a nice dinner out. Sammy and Cleo, our cats that actually like people food, enjoyed the leftovers from Red Lobster . . . a lot. They may make us get extra jobs so we can bring more home :-)

Holy Hellebores, Batman!

I've heard several people say that hellebores are hard to grow, but I've had a lot of luck with these two little plants. I planted them about 2 years ago behind the sign under the Bradford Pear trees there. They seem to like the spot because this year they are full of blooms. I'm going to keep amending the soil back there and try to add some more varieties when I get caught up on everything else.
